This recipe is fantastic and soooooo easy to make! It is the perfect combination of cheesecake, nuts and caramel and it tasted so good that my family thought I bought it at the store :)

Noticed everyone saying it was hard to cut the caramel. I added a 1/4 stick of butter, didn't have any problems cutting it. This was very easy, my boyfriend loved it...made me look like I knew what I was doing. :) Will definitely make again.

I actually left out the caramel and it still came out great. I put whole pecans around the edge before baking which makes the cheesecake very pretty. Always on the Thanksgiving table!

Really really tasty, however, I may have cooked the caramel to long because it was hard to slice.

I LOVE this recipe! I make it about 7 times a year. The first time I made it, I used the caramels, but found it to be too hard to cut. After that, I've stuck to the "Caramel" ice cream topping. Works like a charm. As a matter of fact, I'm baking 2 pies right now!

Made this for Easter, even after letting it sit out for about 45 min. it was still very hard to cut through the caramel. It was more like a peanut brittle, anyone have any suggestions? My family did enjoy the flavor of the cheesecake, but most left the bottom layer cuz it was hard.

My family loved this recipe and it was so easy. I admit, the carmel was hard to cut at first, but once we let it come to room temperture, it was very easy.

my family loved it, but i took half of the amount of carmels and added half of a pecan pie filling to it. it was wonderful and i would make it again.
