I made this recipe using 1/3 less fat cream cheese instead of the fat free. I also had to add more milk than it called for. When I made those adjustments, the recipe came out really tasty. You definately need more milk than it calls for though.

This recipe was not very good at all. The flavor was awful and the entire dish was very sticky. My husband and I love pasta, especially fettuccine alfredo, but I will never make this dish again. Maybe using regular cream cheese instead of fat free would make a difference.

I was really disappointed with this recipe. My entire family of 4 was displeased with this one. It turned out very dry and yucky. The cream cheese on the fettucine was very sticky and not very flavorful. I really feel that using the fat-free cream cheese that this recipe called for is what ruined this dish. I think this recipe could be very good and will try it again using regular cream cheese, whole milk and maybe some butter. The bacon, mushrooms, garlic and tomatoes were great.

YUCK, VERY DRY, MY FAMILY HATED IT, THE BACON AND MUSHROOMS WHERE GOOD, BUT THE REST STUNK.

When I make this again I will omit the thyme, increase garlic and decrease the green onion. To feed 8 need to add more milk and pasta. 8 oz of fettuccine only serves 4 as a main dish.

Delicious...Added peas and garlic and used less cream cheese the second time around...definately try this one.

I felt that when i cooked this meal the bacon was to crisp for the rest of the meal

This dish was a hit at my house. The next time I make it I will wait till right before I serve it to add the bacon so it will stay crispy.
