Springtime Spinach Salad

I used raspberry walnut vinegrette instead and cashews because I had them on hand but I like the salad with the almonds too.

Very good, but hubby didn't like onions in it, and he loves onion.

i agree that a rasberry/pecan vinaigrette worked better...enjoy

I have made this recipe before and it is very good. I also like it with a red wine vinegarette and crumbled feta cheese. In the winter when strawberries are scarce you can substitute mandarin oranges.

Our Bob Evans adds grilled chicken breasts (or tenders) and strawberries as well as hard-cooked eggs and uses a warm bacon dressing which is wonderful. Spinach salad is always good. I will try this recipe and make the above additions.

This is such a terrific salad! As an alternative, I like to add praline pecans instead of almonds with a light raspberry vinegrette dressing.

Delicious & nutritious salad. I vary the ingredients using plain or toasted pecans, and I use different Kraft Salad Seasonings such as: Balsamic, Rasberry and Italian

This is a delicious, crunchy salad. The strawberries and sugar snap peas add a sweet taste. Speaking as one who avoids peas/beans, that says a lot! Crispy, crumbled bacon adds just the right flavor. Drain it well. I press it between thick paper towels, place it in a zipper bag & use the rolling pin to crumble it. It should crumble easily or it hasn't cooked enough to be crispy. If you're in a rush, use real bacon bits from a jar.
