I've made a recipe that is almost exactly the same as this. It is amazing rich, so you may have to spread out how much you eat. I will definitely make this recipe. In fact, I had already planned to serve it at my Christmas get together!! I hope you all enjoy it!!!

Made this with marinated artichokes in a jar .. gives it a little different flavor and also added provolone cheese to thicken it up. Fantastic

I'm always requested to make this dip. Have been making it for 20+ years. Got it from the grocery store on a card. I reduce the mayo a bit. Goes really quick!

The mayo was too much. As one person already said, it was like eating warm mayo on a cracker. I will give this one another try using cream cheese, adding chicken and some seasoning to see how it goes but not impressed with it so far.

Crowd Pleaser! I don't like to use that much mayonnaise, so I switched it with low fat cream cheese. No one will ever know!

Made this dip as an appetizer to a lasagna dinner I cooked for the whole entire family that I had for my kids birthday party. i doubbled the recipe and added some fresh ground black pepper to the dip, then served it with Wheat Thins. The dish was licked clean!! I think it was safe to say it was a hit!

The recipe is good. To make it great follow these steps. 1. Double recipe (fits 9x13) 2.substitute 1 cup sour cream for 1 of the cups mayo. 3.Add 1/2 tsp black pepper. 4.Substitute garlic powder (1 tbsp)instead of cloves (easier). 5.Sprinkle bread crumbs on top before broiling (adds crisp on top). 6. Cook under broiler, lower rack for 15 minutes (avoids cooking oil out of mayo). Garnish with chopped tomatoe (drained). Enjoy!!

I wonder if I can cook (and then serve) this in a crock pot. Anybody tried that?

Fast and easy. I typically add spinach to the dip, as well as extra cheese - cream cheese and mozzerella - to make it creamier.
