Sort of bland. The only thing I was impressed with was the way they looked. I just wish they had tasted just as good. It was nice to get the basics of making scones though.

I hosted a "Baked Potato" luncheon recently. I had plenty of left over bacon, sour cream, cheese, etc. I did not have chives, but used the green onions I had chopped. WHAT A HIT!!! The girls and guys at work all wanted to know the recipe! This is a super bread for every occasion.

Fun for kids to help out and make "stones" I made it with "stone soup" I garnished it with Kraft shredded cheese for that extra gooy taste.

These are delicious - not too difficult to make, and they turned out exactly like they look in the photo.

I have made this recipe many times now. Every party and dinner I've placed these out at have been a big hit. Easy to make and you can adjust the amounts of bacon/cheese/chives to preference. I cut the scones smaller for easy snacking. Yummy!

They were so easy and very tasty. Great for brunch, with fruit and beverage of choice.
