Coney Island Hot Dogs

This recipe is good. Made ahead, when reheated needed to add little water. Served with chili peppers and chili powder to make it hotter.

Wow!! This recipe turned out great. My family and I was looking for a chili that has less fat than the canned verisons and so the only other thing to do is make it your-self. This recipe is very quick and so tastey. My kids loved them and the next time that we have hotdogs this will be the recipe that we use. Thank you Kraft Foods.

It was a blow out at a party that we had especially with the kids.

This is very much like the recipe my mother used for years, except she didn't add the steak sauce; Instead she added about two tablespoons of mustard. My dad loved these! And so did my sisters and I. A blast form the past!

To make them more like real Coney Island Hot Dogs, Once you follow all the steps and place meat on top of each dog, put them all on a baking sheet...Turn oven to Broil. On top of meat add grated cheddar cheese and finely chopped onions. Broil until cheese melts...Watch closely, you don't want to burn the buns, you just want them toasted and the cheese to melt.

This was too much like a sloopy joe only using franks instead of ground meat.

The meat mixture was excellent, it was like eating chili dogs
