I have been looking for a good german potato salad for quite some time. This one was excellent! My whole family enjoyed it. (hint... I used diced canned potatoes which cut down on the prep time, but did not hurt the taste at all!)

This is the first true recipe for the Salad I have found in years. I have been making this for over 20 years and it has been a hit at every meal.

This was a hit, served with brauts and sauerkraut. I cooked the potatoes a little too long and almost had German mashed potatoes, but they still raved about it!

What a fantastic recipe! Absolute RAVE reviews from all at our Oktoberfest party. I also used turkey bacon to cut down on the fat but it made no appreciable difference. Wonderfully tangy and despite misgivings from my sister about a 'vinegary' salad, it was a well-balanced taste.

Very good recipe. We loved it. One thing I would change however is to crumble the bacon rather than use 1' pieces. Also I used only 8 pieces of bacon and it was plenty. Delicious!
