I made this recipe through the oven for a crowd of kiddos...I might have used too much butter to butter the bread, and it took longer to bake. But it still came out great! Next time, I will definitely use less butter.

Love it, great on a cold Winter day with a bowl of Tomato soup.

I usually make my grilled cheese sandwiches with cooking spray instead of butter. It is a great way to save on calories, plus you still get the nice crunch. I love my GCS with dill pickle slices.

My family loves to make ours with Kraft Delux cheese slices. We have this at least once a week. Add some sliced dills on the side for a tangy addition.

Only two slices of cheese? I guess I'm just a cheese-a-holic but I always use more. Match it up with slices of roasted peppers (or hot peppers), ham or smoked turkey... the possibilities are endless! The classic grilled cheese made with Kraft singles is the mainstay of our Lent menu!!

If you are health conscious, try making w/o the butter or margerine. Put it instead in the microwave for approximately 15secs on high depending on your microwave. Or in the toaster oven on toast setting in the middle between light and medium, again depending on your toaster oven.

Perfect sandwich for any meal, any time...for all ages. To add a little zing, I put a little of my favorite spagetti sauce inside.

Until I met my BF I never knew you could make Grilled Cheese on top of the stove. We always had to wait 30 minutes for it to come out of the oven. These are the best Grilled Cheese I have ever had!
