One reviewer told us her husband requested that these Creamy Pumpkin Bars become a new tradition in their home on Thanksgiving. To us, that's a win!

This was a very easy recipe to make, however it didn't set very well. So I stuck it in the freezer and it was a cool treat!!
easy to make and delicious
Way too much butter for crust in my opinion. I always cut the butter down when I make a graham or cookie crust. I want to try this recipe but will use only 2TBS. butter! I will use more pumpkin pie spice because I can see right off from the ingredients that it will be too bland. I'd say 3-4tsps will do it.
I made this 3 times in November. Everyone loved it. I used quite a bit more than the recipe calls for pumpkin spice and I took the remaining cool whip and spread it over the top of the bars. Then I sprinkled it with pumpkin spice. It looked and tasted wonderful.
I made this for our Thanksgiving dinner at church. It was enjoyed by many. Even those who don't like pumpkin liked it.
I made a lower carb version of this recipe by using sugar free pudding, replacing the milk with half and half and by using crushed pecans for the crust. It was a hit and they are begging me to make again for our next family gathering
This recipe was easy to make and was a HUGE hit when I made it. Everyone loved it - even people who swore they hated pumpkin and pumpkin pie. I am planning to make it again soon.
The rating was difficult. The taste of the bar was very good, HOWEVER, the bar did not thicken up enough. Before I made the bar I figured that was going to be the problem because there was no ingredient in the recipe to make it thick enough. I made this for Christmas day and was a little embarrassed to serve it.
This is a great idea to serve for Thanksgiving. It will definately replace a recipe at ours this year!
I made this as well as other kraft recipes for a house full of people at our rental house and got rave reviews. This recipe turned 5 other people onto your website as well. Now I'm known by friends as Julia Child.
