Sounds wonderful Will make it when I buy some mushrooms or tomatoes
Very very good. Made for appetizers and took to several holiday parties. They were gone in seconds!
I made this for New Year's and they went over well. Make sure you use a quality crabmeat. I used the cheap stuff and it was okay, but I will upgrade next time I make it.
YUMMM!! I only added half the amount of mayo and then added some cream cheese in it's place. Made it stick a little better and made it a little creamier. Also I added fresh garlic to the mix and sprinkled red onion on the rooms before serving.
I never knew making this dish was that easy. It came out very good.
i used large stuffing mushrooms instead of small ones and used this as a side dish. i used real bacon crumbled. Husband loved them but wanted a little more cheese in them and possiblely a touch of whischester sauce or lemon juice. 2 large ones were enough for a side dish per person but they do dress up a boring meal of leftovers.
Made this recipe on a family beach trip this past week. Everyone loved them, and there were no leftovers. My husband said this is a keeper! I would cut back on mayonaise next time, and maybe a little more crab meat.
I loved it. So did my mom. I was 1st cautious about putting the mix of ingredients in mushrooms because I used mayo and it's never really good to heat mayo up but I loved it. Me and my mom are on strict diets and this was definitely a treat. and rather than using regular mayo I used light mayo, low sodium bacon bits and part skim cheese. It didnt take away from the taste. We enjoyed it. Thanks!!
I loved them and so did every who tried them. I found the flavors complemeted each other nicely. The stuffing would definatly make a great cracker dip as well.
I made this recipe for our Christmas party at my mothers house . It was a big hit. They went very fast and I was complimented repeatedly for the taste. Thank you for the awesome recipe.
