Always a hit! Hint - wear disposal gloves to make perfect little round balls. I also refridgerate the balls for 30 minutes before dressing them in chocolate - makes for a much smoother finish.

This is a wonderful recipe. I made these truffles to use as a party favor at a luncheon for 58 people. I doubled the recipe and came out with 67 nice sized, 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inch truffles -a nice size for an individual serving. They were a hit and people have asked for the recipe.

First time I made it, they did not set up well. This time I added a bag of coconut to the mix. This firmed it up. I also coated each piece with white dipping chocolate and rolled them in crushed pecans. Very nice if you just use it as a base recipe.

Taste is very nice, but the end result is just more melty than some of the smooth truffles I prefer. Probably will not make this again.

I made this last year for Christmas gifts and people loved them. I got a lot of compliments. People really commented on the ones that I coated with crushed pretzel.

It's so easy and so good! Everyone loves it, and people think I am a talented cook (I'm not). It has become my signature offering when there's a potluck event.
