Everyone loved these!
Very good recipe. Truffles are rich and creamy. Great for hoildays!
Very good. Everyone loved them. After rolling in nuts, we dipped ours in dark chocolate, then sprinkled a few on the tops, turned out very pretty and yummmy!
Excellent truffles - easy to make and loved by all!
These were horrible! They tasted bad, it was messy to make, and a complete waste of time and money. Also, DO NOT use the jell-o, as others suggested. The jell-o ones were the worst.
These truffles are so easy and they're really rich. I make them every year for the holidays and always get requests for the recipe. They make a beautiful presentation set out on tables in little silver wrappers. I make a few batches, some with liquer and some without...and I roll them in powdered sugar, cocoa, coconut, nuts, holiday sprinkles, and candy cane pieces.
I loved this recipe. It was easy to make and the clean up was pretty easy also. I rolled mine in lots of different things but my families favorite was the cherry jello. It tasted so much like chocolate covered cherries. These truffles make great gifts. ( I put them in an empty card box and wrapped the cover in pretty paper)
Very good, took me a little longer than the directions, but then again I am a prefectionest when I make gifts for others. They taste great, I just added a little Cream de Menthe to the truffle mix and rolled them in finely crushed candy canes. Also made almond, coconut, and pretzel coated. The pretzel coat was a little more difficult, but worth the effort.
I don't really like truffles but I made them to give away at Christmas and they were very easy and my co-workers loved them!
Made it first over 20 yrs ago. Made it with my 7 yr old granddaughter last night to be her birthday present to her aunt (my daughnter) My daughter called this morning to say she was about to go into a chocolate coma, because she couldn't stop eating then. We coated them with chocolate and white chocolate. Great and Easy Recipe!
