I make the whole recipe and then store in the fridge and heat me up 1 cup at a time & I've also added some cream in place of a lil bit of milk.

Good Cocoa takes a little time and effort. It's much better than the instant types. And yes, by all means, you can substitute Splenda for the sugar!

I just viewed this recipe and it sounds like something I would love to make and serve to special guests during a holiday. I know my family would just love it.

I liked it a lot, but could I use dry coc a, if so how much?

I use dry (powdered) Cocoa instead of chocolate. To really "dude it up" I stir in one tablespoon of peanut butter and top with marshmallows. Yummie & Smacky.

i would like to know if you can make it with something other than semi sweet chocolate, also, could you use splenda instead of sugar, and has anyone ever tried that?

Add a drop or 2 of cinnamon, cherry, orange or raspberry extract for an extra special treat. This is rich and delicious and really satisfies that chocolate craving!
