I make this all the time now. When every I want a quick change in my chicken and don`t have the time for anything fancy, this is what I do and my family enjoys it.

Replace the shake and bake with corn flake crumbs and the salt is reduced. Coat in Ranch dressing first to add a nice zing!

These are very good...delicious. They are actually surprisingly good, especially for being homemade. But, as others have observed, you have to use common sense in how you cut the chicken so that it is not too thick to cook through and also so that it does not overcook if too thin. Also, you'd be amazed what you can find in the kitchen as dipping sauces besides barbeque sauce...honey, mustard, miracle whip, mayonaise, ketchup, butter, horseradish sauce, etc. These are worth trying, and they are totally worth experimenting with until you master the right-size nugget. Give them a try, but don't give up if you don't get it right the first time. They are worth it.

the first time was not very successful.. I think I cut the chicken too thin and I baked it a bit too long. I would try it again next time.
