We loved this. I put half of the italian dressing right from the package, dry, under the skin. I then added olive oil to the rest and brushed the chicken. Very flavorful chicken. The potatoes picked up the flavor and were wonderful. We ate this the next day too.
Very good, tender and juicy. I will make it again. Made it for friends and they all loved it!
i really loved this recipe made the chicken so juicy and tender my children dont waist a drop i did add a few more things garlic powder little onions i will be making again soon thank you
I loved it. Very easy and very juicy
I made a "fancy" chicken that required basting and turning and separate spices, and wine, etc., right next to this recipe to compare the two. The whole family actually prefered this chicken...5 stars for the simplicity and taste. I added onion and garlic in the chicken.
This was great, as it cooked the seasonings went through the whole house, my kids ate most of the chicken themselves.
We cooked one for ourselves and one for my grandfather and he nor we can stop raving about it. My 5 year old granddaughter almost ate the whole chicken alone! We substituted stuffing for vegetables. Absolutely delicious. Making today for Sunday dinner.
Being fairly new at cooking I tried to make two 5-lb. chickens at the same took an hour longer, but I also think the oven is on its last leg anyway. I would use two seasoning packets instead of one. Good with seasoned couscous and mixed veggies.
The Whole Roasted Chicken Was so wonderful. and I made the creamy Veggies And The Apple Cranberry Salad Toss, For Dinner tonight. These was Superd Recipe. My Husband ask me who coming to dinner tonight, I said we haven your brother and sister-in law over. they just Love the food. They said they never had chicken like that befor. It was really good. I added a couple of slices of bacon before placing in the oven. It helps to keep it moist and gives it extra flavoring.
