raspberry sorbet
, softened

cup cold
milk

pkg. (3.4 oz.)
JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding

tub (8 oz.)
COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
, thawed

cup
raspberries
Make It
step 1
LINE
9x5-inch loaf pan with foil. Spoon sorbet into prepared pan; freeze 10 min.
step 2
BEAT
milk and pudding mix in large bowl with whisk 2 min. or until well blended. Gently stir in COOL WHIP; spread over sorbet in pan.
step 3
FREEZE
3 hours or until firm. To unmold, invert pan onto plate; remove foil. Let stand 10 to 15 min. to soften slightly before slicing to serve. Serve topped with the raspberries. Store leftovers in freezer.

How to Soften Sorbet
Spoon measured amount of sorbet into microwaveable bowl. Microwave on MEDIUM (50%) 10 to 15 sec. or until slightly softened.

I bet it would also be good if made with cream cheese-flavored Jello instant pudding! But making it with real cream cheese may cause it to crack when frozen.

This was easy to prepare and perfect for a summer evening dessert. I will try it next time with orange sherbert and create my own creamsicle.

Sounds wonderful, I haven't tried it yet (had to put a rating, tho'). Has anyone tried this with cream cheese in the pudding? I'm not a chef, so I don't know how to do it properly, or how it would stand up.

This is also very good using lemon pudding with either strawberries, raspberries, or a combo of the two. The lemon gives the desert a lighter flavor that is perfect for hot evenings.

I really liked this recipe. It was fast to make and it only took 3 hours to freeze. My family loved it when I surved it to them.

I used strawberrys instead of raspberrys and it turned out great, everyone was pleased and surprised that a glutz like me could make something like that.

We have small group meetings called Life Group, that is something our church encourages to get to know others in a more personal setting. We always bring something good for after the meeting while we are fellowshipping & this looks like a wonderful dish to make & share with the group. Thank you.

I can not wait to serve this at the next party. When I do serve this again I will add some blueberries for a red, white & blue effect.
