My entire family loves this meal. I add sage and use fresh ginger as well as fresh garlic and smoke flavor and it's awesome everytime!

I have made this many times and I always double the recipe. Most recently I used about 4 pounds of chicken legs (not drummettes) and then doubled all of the ingredients for the sauce. Instead of grilling, I pour the sauce over the chicken legs in a lasagna pan (13x9) and bake them in the over on 375 for an hour. They are delicious every time!!

This didn't taste much different from using plain old BBQ sauce. Don't think I'll bother with this for BBQ chicken again, but it might make good baked chicken...I'll try that next!

I made this using the thick and spicy kraft barbecue sauce with brown sugar instead of the honey flavor that the recipe called for, and my family LOVED it. this will definitely be our go to recipe for bbq chicken now
