Love this...for a variation try serving in a cored tomato rather than on bread. Stuff tomato with tuna mixture top with mixture of cheddar cheese and bread crumbs and place under broiler to melt cheese. Mmmm!

I found a whole tub to be too much. I used half tub and it was fine. I also tried it another time with the fat free soft cream cheese and added my own dried onion and dried chives. I used water chestnuts for crunch too. Worked out well. Definitely a tasty, and fun to change around, recipe.

I put at least 2 Tablespoons of celery and onion, maybe a little more, plus a spoonful of mayonnaise, and used Wheat bread - delicious!!

The filling for this recipe does look good however I am on Atkins diet. What could I put this filling on or in as I can't have bread. Any Ideas?

Very good change of pace from plain tuna fish sandwiches and ordinary grilled cheese. My kids (ages 6 and 4) enjoyed it as well. I'll probably use more tuna or less cream cheese next time to keep it from being quite as rich.

We used half cream cheese and half lo-fat mayo. Delicious, very creamy. We also added a bit of chopped celery. WE are going to add chopped green olives next time around.
