I HAVE BEEN MAKING THIS RECIPE FOR YEARS & IT IS ALWAYS A BIG HIT. IT IS EVEN BETTER LEFT-OVER SO I ALWAYS MAKE EXTRA. IT IS EVEN GOOD AS A DESSERT WITH FRESK WHIPPED CREAM.

I made this last Christmas. It is so easy and soooo GOOD! Everyone LOVED it. Even the ones who aren't so crazy about sweet potatoes. They decided that is what I am going to make and bring with us every Christmas.!!

sweetness, tart, what a wonderful combination. I have also layered sweet potatoes, whale fresh cranberies, and sugar mixture and add 1/2 cup of chopped pecans to topping. It is almost like a dessert.

I took this dish to two separate social gatherings. There was none left when it was over. They loved it and asked for the recipe. I would recommend this dish to anyone!

This was originally made for a Thanksgiving side dish, but since, I have made it for other holidays ncluding Easter. I just use frozen cranberries when out of season and add golden raisins. It's wonderful, and I always get asked to bring it!
