I have the same question regarding the crnberries. What kind of cranberries are used in this recipe. Are they uncooked from the bag or do they have to be cooked up 1st or are they the dried cranberries.. Please ..someone who has made this recipe..please clarify. Thanks

DELICIOUS!! I MADE IT FOR THANKSGIVING AND IT WAS A HUGE HIT!! I MIXED THE CHOPPED APPLES IN WITH THE PUMPKIN MIXTURE INSTEAD OF USING IT JUST FOR THE TOPPING. I WILL DEFINITELY MAKE THIS FOR YEARS O COME!

I added an additional 1/4 cup granulated sugar with the brown in the sweet potato mixture and used fresh cooked mashed sweet potatoes instead of the canned . Everybody loved it and I have printed the recipe 5 times today. Since I was out of pecans walnuts made a good substitute. Thanks again.

I made this recipe for our department Christmas party. It was a huge hit. My family loved it as well. I did omit the cranberries and used more apple.

I HAVE FIXED THIS RECIPE 3 TIMES SINCE THANKSGIVING BECAUSE MY FAMILY HAS REQUESTED IT FOR A SMALL DINNER FOR 4 AND ALSO FOR OUR EXTENDED FAMILY CHRISTMAS PARTY. I JUST NOW PRINTED ANOTHER COPY FOR FRIENDS OF MINE THAT ARE VISITING FROM DETROIT. THEY THOUGHT IT IS FANTASTIC.
