It was the best that I tasted in a long time.

I live in a small town and could not find ladyfingers at my grocery store so I made them from scratch and i altered the recipe by mixing vanilla pudding with the cream cheese and omitted the brandy. I soaked the ladyfingers in coffee and layered the cream cheese mixture and Vanilla flavored cool whip. Everyone loved it and said it tasted better than Olive Gardens tiramisu.

I loved it, so did friends and family. It is 1 of our favorite desserts. I omitted the liqueur/brandy. Yummy!!

It was quite tasty, but a little bit goes a long way. It is not one of those desserts you crave and want more and more.

I had to replace the Amaretto with Almond flavoring. It turned out quite well with the change.

I have friends that don't drink coffee, so I warmed-up seedless rasberry jam and spread that on the ladyfingers. I think it was even better. I've also used Ricotta in place of the Cream Cheese.

This recipe was easy and delicious! The second time I made it, I added about a tablespoon of Kahlua to the coffee..and about a tablespoon of Amaretto to the whipped cream just to jazz it up a little more. When I can't get lady fingers I use a loaf angel food cake from the store.
