Ants on a Log

OK ... back in the day, Mom's made this stuff with cream cheese, peanut butter AND Cheese Whiz! So they got creative and used the cheesecake cream cheese. Why stop there? Why not pineapple, strawberry or raspberry flavors? Or maybe one of the savory flavors. Don't know why you need the raisins tho ... they're old fruit ... I don't eat old ANYTHING! Throw em out! Just tell the kids the ants took a dive and went swimming. ;)

My mother made these for me 20+ years ago with cottage cheese instead of cream cheese.

You can use peanut butter instead of the cream cheese. Children love to make and eat it this way. My 1st grader used this as a class project and it was a BIG hit!!
