This recipe seems so easy to make that I will go to the store and buy everything I need and I will tell my family that it is so easy to make that they would love to make this for a good dessert for when someone comes over they could make is very fast.And they would probably think that they took a long time to make it when they only took a few minutes.

I made a homemade cake and used seedless strawberry jam with the new strawberry coolwhip. It is a pretty pick color and the kids just loved it!! I have twins that are nine years old and also run a home daycare as well as working part time in the evenings. This was a quick dessert that I will make often!

Great simple idea. I made my own cake, used lemon curd filling instead with the cool-whip in the layers but fresh whipped cream for the top frosting, and everyone thought it was fantastic. The lemon is good for a spring-like look, and with simple decorations will also be made this year for Easter!

Be sure to buy a cake that is level for it makes the cutting easier. Next time I'm making the cake myself. I used seedless raspberry jam for the filling.

I am diabetic and am always looking for new recipes. This is one that I can really use. I substitute sugar free jam. (apricot is my favorite) Blackberry works good too. Thanks for submitting this recipe.

This cake is so light and fluffy. the ease of it makes it an anytime quick and almost elegant dessert. My family raved about it for days..they thought I slaved for hours baking it..I'm keeping the prep time a secret. Thank You ,Bonnie
