This was very good. The only change I made was to use sugar free syrup to cut calories.

Sweet potato lovers will enjoy this one. I topped with crunchy mixture of butter, brown sugar, flour and chopped mixed nuts ( I was out of pecans ).

I have a sweet potatoe craze, and this recipe totally satisfies it. I substitued sugar free jelly for the real stuff-just as tastey to me and I cut about 150 off...I make it regularly.

Instead of canned sweet potatoes, I cut up raw sweet potatoes and "basted" them with the syrup/butter mixture in the oven. Never sure how sweet the raw potatoes will be, so this was a great way to fix them.

This was a smashing success for Thanksgiving; so much so that the relatives asked me to make it once again for Christmas. Wonderful with turkey or ham! So simple, and I made it up the night before!

I hate sweet potatoes. No joke, I really do. But on Thanksgiving both my folks and the inlaws demand them. I always cave and make the same old boring marshmellow topped chunky orange mess. This year I made these and not only did everyone else enjoy them, but the tiny nibble I took to taste it led me to 2 helpings and day after leftovers!!
