What You Need

lb. ground beef

large onion, chopped

can (15 oz.) tomato sauce, divided

1-1/4

cups water, divided

Tbsp. (about 1/2 of 0.8-oz. env.) GOOD SEASONS Garlic & Herb Dressing Mix

cup instant white rice, uncooked

large green peppers

Make It

BROWN meat with onions in large skillet on medium heat. Stir in 1 cup tomato sauce, 1 cup water and dressing mix. Bring to boil. Stir in rice; cover. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 min.

MEANWHILE, heat oven to 400°F. Cut tops off peppers; discard seeds. Mix remaining tomato sauce and water in bottom of 9-inch baking dish. Add peppers; fill with meat mixture. Cover.

BAKE 35 to 40 min. or until peppers are tender. Spoon sauce from bottom of dish over peppers just before serving.

Prepare using lean ground beef.

Prepare using frozen LOUIS RICH Pure Ground Turkey, thawed.

Note

Use remaining dry dressing mix to prepare dressing as directed on package, using half each of the vinegar, water and oil. Store in refrigerator until ready to use.

This was wonderful! My husband said it was better then the Stoffers Brand from the freezer. WIll definatley use this recipe over and over again!

one thing i did to spice things up a little bit i used red pepper olive oil to brown my meat in. it was delicious!!! also, there was plenty of leftover rice/meat so we eat it as leftovers or just for a quick lunch!

simple instructions, easy to follow. Not being a bell pepper eater as a general rule, I would have preferred more spice-it-up in the stuffing. But my husband ate it ALL.

These turned out wonderful. They had the same taste as the ones my mom used to make when I was a little girl. I didnt have minute rice so I just used the regular kind. My husband was a little nervous when I told him I was making these but when he tasted them he was like, "Wow!!". Im so glad I found an easy recipe with such a great taste.

This recipe was delicious!! I had stuffed peppers before, but was never very fond of them until I tried this one. Everybody in the family loves them, and we have them almost once a week. Thank you!!
