I also did not brown the meat before stuffing the peppers. I did half ground beef and half pork sausage. Also, when I went to buy the season packet all they had was italian so that is what I used. I can't imagine not using that now. Try your own variations to make it yours! I added mushrooms and diced tomatoes to the mixture. Wonder family favorite.

This recipe was excellent, I also did some inprovising.....I didn't brown the meat before stuffing the peppers so it wouldn't crumble when you cut into it and I added some Kraft shredded chedder cheese to the beef mixture, and then melted some on top after it was done. My family loved them!

My Mom used to make stuffed peppers, but i never knew what she made them with. I ran across this recipe and tried it. It's almost just like Moms. I also had a problem finding the seasoning packet, so I improvised. I used seasoning I had in my kitchen, to my taste. Such as garlic, black pepper, salt, tumeric, ect. My family loved it, and made me the hit of the nite! Thanks Kraft.

This was my first time making stuffed peppers too. I also could not find the packet of seasoning at the store, so I had to leave it out. They came out good, but fell apart when you cut into them. My mom makes them different. She told me she fills them before cooking the meat and cooks them on the stovetop. Her filling comes out more solid. But they were pretty good.

Very good! I boiled the peppers for 3 min first, used basil, garlic, oregano tomato sauce, added garlic powder, onion powder, 6 oz of velveeta in mixture, used reg. rice, precooked it, topped with chedder when I took it out of the oven.
