What You Need

lb. ground beef

large onion, chopped

can (15 oz.) tomato sauce, divided

1-1/4

cups water, divided

Tbsp. (about 1/2 of 0.8-oz. env.) GOOD SEASONS Garlic & Herb Dressing Mix

cup instant white rice, uncooked

large green peppers

Make It

BROWN meat with onions in large skillet on medium heat. Stir in 1 cup tomato sauce, 1 cup water and dressing mix. Bring to boil. Stir in rice; cover. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 min.

MEANWHILE, heat oven to 400°F. Cut tops off peppers; discard seeds. Mix remaining tomato sauce and water in bottom of 9-inch baking dish. Add peppers; fill with meat mixture. Cover.

BAKE 35 to 40 min. or until peppers are tender. Spoon sauce from bottom of dish over peppers just before serving.

Prepare using frozen LOUIS RICH Pure Ground Turkey, thawed.

Note

Use remaining dry dressing mix to prepare dressing as directed on package, using half each of the vinegar, water and oil. Store in refrigerator until ready to use.

its really good...i changed it a little bit by using chile...filled that up instead of bell pepper...fabulous taste

This is my favorite recipe for stuffed peppers. I use extra tomatoe sauce when cooking so they sit in more juice and I have some for over the peppers

i didnt have mater sauce soo i used manwich mix. will anke again w/ mater sauce. it was just OK. I will add in rotation.

Made this for dinner and everyone loved it! I'm definitly going to make it again very soon. The only thing different i'd go back and do is put more of the tomato sauce at the bottom of the pan. I definitly think it should have more. I also put cheese on the top of my peppers when they came out of the oven and everyone seemed to like that.

My husband kept asking me to make stuffed peppers, so I really wanted a good but easy recipe. This recipe was great. I used ground turkey instead of the beef. I will defitely make this again.
