only downside was that the pears needed to be sliced just before using to avoid turning color (lemon juice would have changed the flavor of the recipe too much) only addition i made was a touch of fresh cracked pepper... ...the meal i served with this salad consisted of grilled pork tenderloin medallions with lime- cilantro glaze, pecan topped sweet potatoes, a roast vegetable tian, sweet french rolls, and bourbon pecan squares for desert...this was a meal for 84 people...the salad was very easy to do...even for a crowd, and was absolutely beautiful and the hit of the evening...everyone wanted the recipe!!! so i gave them your web address! as usual, i thank you for coming up with winning ideas
