Full of flavor and easy to prepare! I didn't use a bay leaf and added a teaspoon of louisiana hotsauce for an extra kick! :)

This dish is tasty and easy to make. I added Tabasco sauce to it for an extra kick. I also didn't put in celery, substituted green beans for okra, regular rice for minute rice, and added some red pepper. I used pre-cooked shrimp instead and just added it at the end; it saves some time. My husband loved it!

If you like this recipe, and you want to spice it up a bit, try Hot Louisiana sausage, chicken pieces and a little ground cayenne pepper. I also use a large can of diced tomatoes.. I don't put in celery, okra or peppers. Yummy and definately hot!

This recipe was unique and tasty. It even tasted good after being frozen and defrosted a month later.

Iagree this is one tasty, easy recipe. It also freezes well. I'd like to try it with the traditional andouille sausage next. Since I believe you can't have too much of a good thing, I doubled the amount of shrimp it called for.
