I added another 1/2 packet of seasoning. My kids loved this soup. Quick, easy, and filling.

This made a wonderful side dish that I served along with baked chicken. I had some left over so the next morning I mixed it into my egg white omelet along with some sliced peppers to make a really superb and filling breakfast.

Great recipe, makes a very hearty soup. I did not blend the beans and added a can of diced tomatoes. My husband and three teenagers loved it!

Have made several times already. Like the flavor the salad dressing adds. Quick and nutritious with low fat and high fiber and tastes great too! What more can one ask?

Very good base recipe. I also added rotel and only blended one can of beans. I will probably reduce the amount of rice next time I make it. Very good though.

I made it January 31, 2006 and received 2 thumbs up from my family (teenagers who never agree on any meal). I don’t have minute rice so I just cut the water by 1 cup and added some rice I had already cooked up. I would only blend up one can of beans next time in order to have some whole beans like it shows in the picture.

Very simple, but just a little bland. Next time, will add some more spice to it.
