My husband and I loved this recipe. I added a can of rotel for some spice.

For people who have to watch their sodium intake, rinse the beans and add a pinch more water. It tastes just as good!

This turned out great. My husband especially liked it with the Southwest Cornbread.

I made a very similar black bean dip last night and my son loved it - to my surprise. But he wanted his warm. This will be perfect!

I have not had this particular recipe but I have had a similar one that my dad used to make that was also good. I always liked to get a couple of corn tortillas and tear them into pieces and put them in the soup. That was always my favorite way to eat it.

This was great and my husband loved it! I did add some cilantro and cumin for a little extra flavor. It turned out great! I will definitely make it again.

I added white rice instead of brown and red onion instead of white. Also, I added a spoonful of salsa, sour cream, cheese, and green pepper. It was so good!
