I found this basic recipe incredibly delicious with a very "refreshing" taste. I also added about 1/4 cup mayo, 1/2 cup finely grated baby carrots, 1/2 cup freshly steamed, (and cooled) asparagus heads, 1/4 cup parmesan cheese as well as 1/4 cup of green onions. YUMMY!

This is an excellent recipe! I usually make the artichoke version but I love water chestnuts so this recipe was a great alternative. I didn't have to modify this recipe too much. I used low-fat cream cheese and added 1/4 c. of Light Mayo to make it just a bit creamier. And it turned out PERFECT! You can't even tell it was made with low-fat items. My hubby loved it and he normally hates anything that's low-fat. I will definitely be making this dip quite often!

I did make this recipe and it's great! I used fresh spinach, fat free cream cheese and light sour cream it turned out awesome with the added lemon juice and roasted red peppers. Even with out all of the full flavors of the cream cheese and sour cream! I will be making this recipe again. Thank you.

This spinach dip is excellent when served with Frito scoops.

If you add a few cloves of chopped garlic and a squeeze of lemon juice this recipe tastes great!

My family, friends and I love this recipe. I pass it out everytime I get a chance. It has taken me forever to find a spinach dip recipe I like and this is it. I will keep this one close for every occasion. It's so good I hate to share it!

It was simply wonderful! I used low-fat sour cream and 1/3 less fat cream cheese and it turned out great.

Wonderful! I used roasted red peppers and served it with Hawaiian bread. Everyone loved it!

I did not use the water chestnuts or the red peppers, as the recipe stated. I also used the whole 16 oz container of sour cream instead of one cup as the recipe stated. I did add a vegetable mix to the recipe & also green onions too. Adding those two, gave the dip a great flavor. It was the talk of an office party that I made it for.
