ai love this recipie, to top an extra littel cool whip, nxt time I make it I will try to remember to COOL completely so that I can taste the cool whip in the middle-

Great flavor. A bit thin though since the batter is being divided into two cake pans, but still very good.

Beginner baker - I made this recipe and it was OK. I think I may have pulled it out the oven too early b/c my cake seemed a little too moist. But, I will try the recipe again in the future and I think I will use the sour cream and pineapple instead of water tips.

Delicious and moist. EVERYONE LOVED IT!!!!!!!I substituted crushed and pineapple chunks instead of sliced. Used 1/2 sour cream and 1/2 whipped topping. And added pineapple juice in cake mix instead of water. I look forward to making this again.

I made this recipe for a Luau and everyone loved it. In fact the next day people were calling me to ask if I had any leftovers. Will definitely make this again.
