I made this in 4-H a long time ago, only with pineapple yogurt instead of miracle whip. Mmm!

I prepare a very similar recipe which my husband lovingly calls 'Cabbage Apple Salad.' As an insulin-dependent diabetic my recipe uses 1 packet of artificial sweetener and skim milk instead of honey. I also include whole celery seed for a yummy taste. Right before serving I stir in chopped walnuts. This salad is always well received at potlucks. Better take a copy of the recipe with you!

My family really enjoyed this recipe for coleslaw. The apples give a nice flavour. I used Kraft Lite Coleslaw Dressing instead of Miracle Whip. A nice change from tradional coleslaw.
