This is just wonderful . I have shared it with my friends. I made it for a family gathering , they loved it . It is going to be my favorite soup right up with my cajun shrimp -chicken gumbo. Thank you so much.
This soup is the easiest I have ever made! It is so tasty and is even better the next day. I used the precooked, frozen chicken strips that speeded up the preparation even more. Any cook can customize it according to individual tastes. Kudos!
This was a keeper! We don't have very many "cold winter days" in Phoenix, but we still love soup. I will make it again soon.
Sooo easy to make. I used frozen green beans, broccoli, and mixed veggies, and used egg noodles instead of rice. My hubby had 2 bowls and declared it a keeper. I never would have thought of using salad dressing mix in soup. Loved it!
I added a half cup of chopped onion as well and it and it was good. Next time I will try with noodles instead of rice.
I substituted wide egg noodles for the rice, and it turned out wonderful. The italian salad dressing mix for the seasonings is a great idea.
I enjoyed making this soup, it was easy to follow, it was my first time making soup.
Being short on supplies, I doubled this recipe using only one envelope of Good Seasons Dressing mix and left over veggies and it was very tasty. Next day, I used left over soup and added a can of stewed tomatoes and this was also very good. I will make again soon- We especially loved it with cornbread.
I doubled the recipe using the large can of chicken broth, I added coarsely chopped Bok Choy, fresh small leaf spinach and abt 1 cup of chopped green onion. I served this hearty soup with garlic bread. My family loved it.
yes i have tried this soup and it was excellent.. very good.. but instead of trying the italian salad dressing mix. i used the good seasons Roasted Garlic and Heb salad dressing mix. was very good flavor..and with the chicken since i don't have alot of time.. i put i used 2 cans of chicken.. and instead of the rice i put Egg noodles and i have tried the small shell noodles... and i fixed corn bread to eat with it.. very good.... Thanks Kraft for sending this we all enjoy this meal..
