Smothered Pork Chops

Smothered Pork Chops recipe
An herby crunch on the outside means all the juiciness stays on the inside of these pork chops. Onions and savory sauce smother this crowd-pleaser in goodness.

As one of the newly "laid off" minions, I'm counting pennies. This recipe is easy, cheap and really good along with some sort of green veggie as a side. I usually steam broccoli and carrots with this dish. Two thumbs up to the Kraft Recipe site.

Used boneless instead - great taste - very tender - and the gravy hit the spot. Family does not like large onions - put dried ones in the gravy - it was great!

This was a quick and easy recipe. I didnt have a shake and bake pkg. so i made my own mix with corn flake breadcrumbs, onion, garlic powder, paprika, parsley flakes, dry mustard and celery salt and I made my own gravy with beef boullion cubes and water, flour, whipping cream and milk. Follow recipe and it turned out delicious! Will make again,. Thanks for sharing recipe!

I'll be making this recipe for the 3rd time tonight. It is very quick, easy and tasty. Not super awesome, but quite good for a standard weeknight meal. If you like your onions browner like I do, cut them very thin or soften them up in a pan before baking.

Best tasting, easy to make, fall in love recipe. There is nothing you will not love about this recipe- its easy, super tasty, and open to all kinds of sides. This meal has made me a fan of pork chops and that is saying a whole lot- add more gravy (I used packets instead of jar) and make rice/potatoes, a noodle salad, veggies just one of those main dishes that is very versatile.

It was delicious! Before the Shake and Bake, I added salt and pepper, garlic and onion powder to the chops.

Everyone loved them. I didn't use any Shake n bake and they were still very good. I also used mccormick gravy in the package and that work fine too. Very good.
