Smothered Pork Chops

Smothered Pork Chops recipe
An herby crunch on the outside means all the juiciness stays on the inside of these pork chops. Onions and savory sauce smother this crowd-pleaser in goodness.

Wonderful!! Easy to make and chops were very tender. Full of flavor.. served with dirty rice and remainder of gravy...

My husband thought these were the best pork chops he's ever had. They were so tender and delicious. I served them with mashed pototoes and the Kraft maple glazed carrots.

Very easy to make. Only mine tasted extremely bland. Not bad, but just needed salt or a better jar of pork gravy. I would definitley make this again, but I would modify.

My absolute favorite pork chop recipe....I don't use the gravy and I use italian bread crumbs instead of shake n bake and it still wonderful! But don't skip the onions...they make the recipe.

My daughter doesn't like onions but they were sliced thick enough she just picked them off the top. This was moist and very flavorful. I served with mashed potatoes and the remaining gravy. My husband even liked it!

Loved it! Used 3 jars for gravy - way too much, will use 1 1/2 next time. One jar just did not seem like enough for mashed potatoes too. Very tender, and the onions made the dish so flavoful. Used thin boneless chops, cooked for 25 minutes before adding gravy, then cooked 10 more, they were perfect. Highly recommned, it's easy but tastes gourmet!
