Smothered Pork Chops

Smothered Pork Chops recipe
A seasoned coating mix on the outside keeps all the juiciness inside these pork chops. Onions and a savory gravy smother this crowd-pleaser in goodness.

Loved it! Used 3 jars for gravy - way too much, will use 1 1/2 next time. One jar just did not seem like enough for mashed potatoes too. Very tender, and the onions made the dish so flavoful. Used thin boneless chops, cooked for 25 minutes before adding gravy, then cooked 10 more, they were perfect. Highly recommned, it's easy but tastes gourmet!

I wasn't real impressed with this dish. I did as the directions said but the pork chops were a little tough. I think I cooked them too long. Anyway, the taste wasn't exactly what I was going for.

Was a very good and easy meal. Even the picky eaters like this one.

I used 4 jars of pork gravy because we love gravy on our mashed potatoes. This also made the gravy more flavorful after baking with the chops and onions.

I was pleased w/how the chops turned out! Usually, I'll just put shake n' bake on them and put 'em in the oven. The gravy really made a difference. I didn't have any onions available, but they were still good! My husband said this is something he'd eat every week!

YUM! We loved it! I couldn't find the gravy in a jar, so I cooked 2 envelopes of French's Pork Gravy., then poured it over the chops & onions. The onions added just a touch of crunch. Next time I'll add some of the touches other cooks have mentioned.
