My family doesn't like peppers, so we do a little variation of this that is so good. We top the pizza with chicken, chopped red onion, and chopped cilantro. My sister who hates marinara sauce loves this pizza!

I have a variation of this recipe to share- especially if you are cooking for one. I placed the filling (chicken, vegetables, cheese, and barbecue sauce) between 2 tortillas and cooked it in my quesadilla maker and it was very tasty. Just make sure you chop the chicken up small enough to close the quesadilla maker. I also placed the fillings in a tortilla, folded it in half, and cooked it in my George Foreman for a couple of minutes (until the cheese melted). Both of these variations ensure that you have fresh and hot food each night- I cooked the chicken and vegetables ahead of time, placed them in a tupperware container, and reheated enough for each meal when I needed it.

I made this tonight and I loved it. My husband also loved it. I also made some carmalized onions and added those to the pizza.

We enjoyed this very much. I added bacon bits for a little extra flavor. Next time I'll use a little more sauce -- more like 1/2 cup. And I'd like to try it with cheddar cheese sometime for a different taste.

Even though this is a barbecue chicken pizza recipe, I tried something different. I used barbecue sauce on one side of the pizza and used pizza sauce on the other. I do not like barbecue sauce much but my family does. After trying both sides we all agreed using the pizza sauce was the best. It was more flavorful. A very good recipe.

I made this pizza for my monthly game night friends--male and female. Everyone loved it. My son-in-law said I could send him one every Friday!

THE SODIUM CONTENT IS VERY HIGH, POSSIBLY SUBSTITUTE A TOM. SAUCE DRESSED UP WITH SOME HERBS, I.E. GARLIC, OREGANO, BASIL WOULD LOWER SODIUM CONTENT, RETAIN FLAVOR, AND IT IS WORTH A TRY, AMERICANS ARE CONSUMING TOOOO MUCH SODIUM.

This is such a great recipe, everyone loves it. Buying ready to eat chicken breast strips make this a ten minute meal!
