Very light and cool for the summer. Plan to make with other flavors of jello with cool whip as the frosting .

It tasted great, but the Cool Whip mixture on the top was too runny, it made a mess all over the place. I think if I make it again, I'll chill that mixture before I frost it. I may have just over-stirred. Good taste though!

Umm, is there something I didn't understand about the recipe that everyone else seemed to have gotten? How did everyone get the pudding/coolwhip combo for the frosting to stay firm and not turn to soup thereby sliding right off the cake and plate. I now have my cake in the freezer in hopes of retaining some of the frosting. It certainly is not prize winning appearance. The Jello in the cake is fantastic though. My wife made the same recipe last year which didn't call for pudding in the coolwhip frosting- which was an even quicker melting disaster. Someone please share the secret!

I made this for an office birthday party - everyone loved it. Even the president and his wife stopped by my desk to thank me for making it! I will be making it again for my bunko group. Although you have to plan ahead due to the wait time, it is definitely worth it!

The best poke and pour cake ever. It was light and easy to make. I made it in a rectangle pan since I did not have any round pans, You only need half the jello if you make it as a sheet cake but we loved it.

I made this cake for Easter. I substituted one pack of lemon jello with orange jello. Wonderful!!! I also cut thin lemon slices in half and placed them in opposite direction all around the cake. On the top I sliced two lemon slices about a 1/4 of the way and twisted them. It was wonderful and everyone loved it!!!!!!
