Have not made this yet...some reviews indicated they on,y use one Bo's of jell instead of two. Am I missing something, the recipe only calls for one box of jello. Re: frosting: I think if you mix the pudding, let sit a minute, then gently fold in the cool whip, it will keep its thicker consistency.

Brought this cake to a couple of parties, and followed the recipe to a "T". EVERYONE LOVED IT, at both parties, and every crumb was eaten before the parties were over. Excellent cake.

This was a nice cool refreshing cake that my whole family enjoyed. I did mine in a regular rectangle cake pan though and it turned out fine. Nice cake for the summer.

I found the recipe and made it for a BBQ at my friends house. I followed the recipe with the exception of the jello. I only used one box instead of two. The cake was loved by all and I will most definitely make this over and over.

I made this for easter. Since I had to travel, I made it using a 9x13 pan. This was fantastic. Very refreshing and light tasting for a dessert. Will make another time using a lemon cake mix if I can find it. The lemon was not as pronounced as I thought it would be.
