Have been making this for years. Make it in a 13 inch pan. It is our favorite cake. used blueberry jello and raspberry jello for 4th of july cake. I save a quarter cup of the jello and when slightly thickened fold it in the topping. Also use grated lemon peel in cake for lemon, and orange peel for orange.

I made this type of cake about 20 years ago for our soccer team pot luck. It was a great success!

Great "light" dessert. I make it all the time especially for Easter. I make it in a 9x13 cake pan. I usually use cherry or black cherry Jell-o because it shows up better against the white cake.

this is a fun way to make cakes you can also make it as a sheet cake and with diff kinds of jello. My 2 year old loves it with diff color jello she has fun helping poke holes in the cake and pouring the jello on

this cake is delicious!! my family especially enjoys it made with strawberry jello in place of the lemon jello. i just make a sheet cake(9x11), and pour the jello mix over the cake in the pan. i let it cool, then top with coolwhip & sliced strawberries. this is a great Easter/ Spring cake.
