I made this cake for Easter and my father and siblings usually only have Ice cream cake. Well they loved this cake and so did everyone else the Jello really makes the cake so moist I used regular vanilla cake with the lemon jello and frosting PERFECT!

Delicious! I substituted real whipped cream, lighty sweetened, for the Cool Whip. It was so light and lucious I will be making this again and also try it with other flavors.

I made this lemon cake for a graduation party and it turned out great. It is a pretty dessert and it is also delicious! Guests loved the light, refreshing taste for the summer months. Printed recipe for some of ladies at party. Will be a dessert at future gatherings of friends and family.

We loved that this cake was so light and fluffy. It was a little time consuming, but well worth it!

I made this cake last year and it was ok. I expected it to come out fluffier.

I enjoyed every step of this recipe... from making it to eating it !! It made a LOVELY presentation. However, I didn't have any problem with the layers, the cake stayed together beautifully.

I LOVE poke cakes! I topped the cake with mandarin oranges and used orange jello like another reviewer suggested. the only problem with this cake is that the frosting (which is SO delicious) makes the layers kind of slippery. Maybe adding something else in between the layers along with the frosting would keep them together. Watch the video along with this recipe. Mine turned out exactly like the picture! I'm eager to experiment with other cake and jello flavors!

I made this for a backyard picnic w/ our neighbors and everyone liked it. If I make it again I will do it as a 13x9 instead; my layers slide apart from the topping in the middle. I also did not use all of the frosting on my cake.
