Made with a Devil's Food Cake mix and added Cherry Jello. Delish moist and fluffy. Will make again. Althoug be sure to take your cake out of pan then place back in before pouring jello on as mine stuck to sides and I couldn't get it out.

Very good. I thaw a bag of frozen strawberries, mush them up and collect the juice, which I substitute for the cold water when making the jello. (add more cold water if needed to make 1 c) I then spread the strawberries over the cake, prior to frosting with the coolwip.

I could add a million more stars to rate this recipe! I have been making this cake for over 22 years. This is a must make cake for any time of year -- always requested and loved! And everyone always wants the recipe and can't believe how easy it is to make!

I've always used a vanilla Jello instant pudding, prepared with one cup of cold milk and then folding in a tub of CoolWhip as the topping. Everyone loves it, especially with orange flavored Jello, or berry blue.

I know this has been around for a while but it was the first time we made it. My daughter made it for a family get together. Wow it is so most and easy and delicious. We will be making this again this holiday season and change it around a little with different jellos, cake mixes and toppings. Thanks!!!

This is the best for a cool summer evening dessert. It is my daughter's official birthday cake and she has requested it for at least 14 years. Always a hit and so easy to make! Enjoy it.

My husband (and the neighborhood) loves this cake!! I have made a number of variations w/cake and jello and all have come out very tasty.

This is a great cake for a crowd. I leave it unfrosted and offer a variety of toppings, from Cool Whip or whipped cream, ice cream and sliced fruit such as strawberries (or whatever flavor Jell-O I use).
