This is an easy to make cake and it is sooooo yummy. My friends all loved it at our holiday party. I would certainly make it again.

It was very easy to make and my kids loved putting the whipped topping on. Everyone at work loved it.. It was easy and pretty.

what I like about this recipe,by changing the jello flavor and different shape of pan it can be made to suit any occassion,besides being very tasty.I like to make it with lemon jello and decorate it with cool whip topped with a couple of lemon curls.Great to serve at a cook-out or church pot-luck.

The whipped topping itself as icing on a two-layer cake is not feasible. It cannot support the weight of a layer filled with jello, and it does not stay on the sides of the cake, unless the topping is frozen! And it is messy when transporting. I would opt for the single layer 9x13 version instead, or a different icing.
