Not as shown. I do not like the 'imitation seafood stuff. However, I did use frozen chopped raw shrimp and enjoyed the bisque. I must admit I have tried the imitation stuff seveeral times, and have not been pleased nor satisfied. I prefer to use the 'real thing' and feel the taste balances the slight additional cost.

I first enjoyed lobster bisque on my honeymoon, and I was hooked! When we got home, I wanted to try and make it myself, and I found this recipe. It was very easy and very delicious!! I think I prefer this crab recipe even over the lobster restaurant stuff. And to make things even easier, I used leftover grill packet potatoes from the night before, so they only had to be heated in the soup, not cooked. I served it with warm cornbread, my husband's favorite and I will definitly be making this one again and again!

The taste wasn't bad but the texture of the imatation crab didn't feel right to me.

I've made this about four times now, and everyone raves about it. I replaced the regular VELVEETA for the Mexican style Velveeta and skipped the hot pepper sauce, it gives it just the right kick. I can't wait to have it again!

This recipe is so easy and really good. I was short on time to cook a decent meal for my family and cooked this one and the family loved it!
