I made this for Saint Patrick's day for my husband (he'd been asking for beef stew) and it was a hit. I don't always care for beef stew, but I really like this one. I didn't have dressing mix so I used bottled Italian dressing and it was good!!!

I doubled the reciepe for my St. Patricks Day croud...I did add an extra pkg of dressing mix. The meat was so tender. Everyone loved it! My husband said it's one of his new favorites!

I have made this recipe for St.Patrick's Day for several years. It tastes great and my guests now expect it. This year I used my crockpot with excellent results.

i made this in the crock pot and it turned out great. the only problem i had was it lacked a bit of flavor and the veggies were a bit too "raw" for my tastes. so next time ill add the veggies sooner and add 2 packets of dressing instead of one. i cooked it on low for about 5 1/2 hrs, and high for 30 min. next time itll be 5 hrs low 1 hr high (for the veggies). and the left overs were even better!

This recipe is definitely a keeper. I followed the instructions exactly and it came out great!! My husband is a chef and is hard to please, and he had 2 servings! Thanks Kraft!
