Beef brisket was very good, but DON"T try adding potatoes and carrots, like a pot roast dinner. They turned out gross.

I have been making this brisket for a number of years on the Jewish Holidays. Everytime I make it I get raves from my family and friends and I have given out this recipe to numerous friends over the years and they all just love it.

Wow the sauce was soo good. I didnt have the onion soup mix only the french onion. But it was awesome. Next time i'll try it w/ the onion soup. And i also added potatoes and my husband loved them. they tasted soo good w/ the sauce. Yummy

This is the fist brisket that I have ever made, it came out very moist a delicous, I added garlic...but I add garlic to everthing. I am making this for christmas.

I have made this recipe several times and everyone always compliments me on it. The meat comes out so tender and with a wonderful flavor. I like to make a cheddar potato casserole and green vegetables to accompany it. Thanks for this recipe- it's great!

I used a good pinot noir and it was fabulous (we enjoyed the rest of the bottle with the dish!). Very tender and delicious. The whole family loved it and asked what was in it.

Made this recipe for family and friends and they loved it! I could not find French Onion Soup so I used one can of beef broth and an extra package of onion soup mix. I also seasoned the meat first with Creole seasoning. It gave the meat a little kick. Will use this recipe again and again.

THIS WAS AN AWESOME DISH. EASY TO MAKE, PUT IN THE OVEN AND ENJOY THE AROMA FOR FOUR HOURS AND THEN ENJOY THE BEST MEAL THAT YOU HAVE HAD IN A LONG TIME. EXCELLENT!!!!
