I've been making these cookies for years. They are a wonderful Christmas favorite. I use cherry for the red and lime for the green, but just a little more than it calls for in the dough, that way you don't lose the lime taste.

I used raspberry jello and made the cookies slightly smaller. This is an excellent, easy to make recipe, and the cookie swap gals loved them! I also baked them 8-1/2 minutes which was enough bake time. This is a great recipe to make with your kids/grandkids!!

I used strawberry jello for red and lime for green - I also feel that the lime were not the best flavored. I wonder about pineapple???Grreat cookie.

Very easy to make. Taste great. Makes a lot at one time. The one loss for a star is for the mess. There are a lot of things to clean up along with the sprinkled gelatin getting all over the kitchen.

This recipe has been a family favorite since I was a little girl (30 some years). The only difference in the 2 recipes ingredients is that we use 4 cups of flour and we use colored sugar, sprinkles and maraschino cherries (prior to baking) to decorate the cookies. We also use a cookie press. These are so worth your time!

I used a cookie press too. The cookies have a fantastic flavor, nice color, and the kids loved them! I will use this recipe for all holidays!

I made these with cherry jello and then lime jello (so I'd have red and green cookies for the holidays). The cherry were ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! They're probably my favorite cookie now! The lime were good, but not the best. I think next time, I'll try the black cherry or maybe even orange! This recipe is completely worth your time!

I found cherry jello to be very tasty for the holidays. I also used red sugar instead of jello for the tops of the cookies. This recipe makes quite a lot for so little work. Thanx

Put these through your cookie press. Makes such pretty little tea cookies. Use different flavors of Jello for different colors.
