My mom always made "Jello Cookies" over the holidays and my sisters and I have continued the tradition. We have always used a cookie press instead of the bottom of a glass like in the recipe. The cookies always disappear weather in the shape of a star or a tree. We use Lime jello and usually Strawberry.

I am so excited! I use to make these cookies for everything from parties to bake sales, the orginal recipe was from a Jello Cookbook that unfortunately got lost in a move 15years ago. It is now early Thanksgiving morning and I plan to make a batch for an extra dessert today. Thank you.

I had to make 100 dozen cookies for an event and was looking for some new recipes that were easy, attractive & tasty. These fit the bill for all three. I made strawberry ones and lime ones and did sprinkle them with red colored sugar and green colored sugar to make them brighter in color. If I were only making one batch I would go with the strawberry.

I made two batches of this recipe, one with cherry and one with lime jello. Took them to a Christmas party. Had to make some more for us and for cookie giving. they were good!!

I made these for two baby showers, I used blue raspberry jello for the boy shower and strawberry jello for the girl shower, these took center stage at the baby shower. The flavor was unique and delicious. Everyone wanted the recipe. For summer you can probably use lemon jello or you can use strawberry jello add some mini chocolate chips so they look like watermelon slices. So much you can do with this, I love it and my kids do to!!

I made these yesterday for a cookie exchange that we're doing tonight. They're yummy! However, you may want to check your cookies sooner than suggested for doneness. Mine were ready at about 6 mns. Also, make sure your oven is preheated. A couple on my first pan kind of melted out first because I hadn't heated the oven fully. Can't wait to make them again... with grape Jell-O!

I have been making these for so many years. We found the recipe in a cookbook of our mothers. We would flatten and just sprinkle with sugar. They are so easy to make. The variety of flavers is endless.

I discovered this recipe last fall and added it to my Christmas cook menu. They are wonderful and were a great hit with our guests. They will stay on our annual list. I did bake them a little less than suggested and they were perfectly soft.
